Gary Patterson Livestock is a small showpig operation that produces big time results. We continuously focus on producing sound, functional, and productive show barrows and gilts by being extremely critical on skeletal structure. If you are looking for 50 head of barrows for your 4-H or FFA group from one source, we probably aren't the place to stop. But, if you are looking for the ONE that can beat all 50 of those others, then give us a call!

Our Herd
We typically run between 10 and 14 sows per breeding season. Our primary breed focus includes Yorkshires, Hampshires, Poland, and Crossbreds. We have spent many years developing some of the top females around. Our building blocks have produced major breeding pieces like Bocephus, Tae-Bo, and Mighty Whitey. We are always working to produce the next valuable breeding piece or show ring winner, and we take great pride in the work we do.

Fall Farrowing
We are extremely excited about our fall farrowing schedule this year.
Feel free to browse our site, and contact us if you have any questions.

This year, our showpig crop will be heavily influenced by, our own, very popular belted exotic boar, Hashtag. We are very excited about this boar, we think that you will be too. He is standing at Next Level Genetics, and you can find a link on our Boars page.
Also, our newest addition to our Yorkshire herd and latest joint-venture with Next Level Genetics, Just Cause. Sire of the '15 Breed Champion Yorkshire at the Houston Livestock Show and '15 Res. Champion Yorkshire Gilt at the San Angelo Gilt Show, this boar has already made some huge waves his first breeding season!
